The propensity of the medium-textured soil, which tends to be clayey and rich in rock fragments, and the personal taste of the producers made us decide to cultivate international varieties: Cabernet Franc, Tannat and Marselan.
The presence of a hill at around 180 m above sea level, exposed to the north and constantly exposed to the wind, encouraged us to plant Pinot Noir, with which we produce a sparkling rosé classic method and a ‘pure’ Pinot Noir.
To honor the area, since 2017, we have also planted ciliegiolo, a wine valued since Roman times and whose origins are still unclear.
